I expected a single-tree (13 inch diameter) removal quote to be around $750. The quote was $2,000.00. I said forget it. He said: $1,500.00. He said the average single tree removal quote for York County that I used was not good. I caved and gave them their required %50 down payment. They arrived two hours earlier than the agreed to time. Their work was okay. I asked what they would quote to trim three of my holly plants. The quote was $150. I said okay. I expected them the next day. I called that evening. They said Is Tuesday okay. I said okay. I called Tuesday evening and the person mumbled something, I said okay, he hung up. That was nine days ago. I have been slowly trying to trim the holly trees myself with a pole pruner, but I am 88 years old and am still trying. See more See less

We just purchased a new home, and the yard was in desperate need of a trim, cut and clean up. Jose’s team was prompt, cost effective and they did a tremendous job. We even asked for a walkway to be restored and rocks to be added to the yard. They did it all and in a timely manner. We hired Jose to plant a large number of trees and shrubs along the fence lines of our property. We also asked that he create two beds for some of the shrubs in our front yard. While we usually do yard projects ourselves, the ground in those areas is solid clay and rock hard. This task would have been too much for us and certainly not the enjoyable yardwork we like to do. So, we found Jose and his company, Jose's Lawn Care and Tree Service, online. He had a 5.0 Google review rating, and it is clear to us that he has definitely earned it. He listened to what we wanted done, provided suggestions, and came up with a fair estimate. His communication was prompt (replied to my initial inquiry within 10 minutes) and he arrived on the day of work on time.
